ARTIST MISSIONARY ▫️ PAINTER ▫️ TEACHER
Welcome
Hey so excited to meet you!
I’m Marianna McCall and I am a full time artist and Artist Missionary/Christian Creativity Mentor.
“What you do in the present—by painting, preaching, singing, sewing, praying, teaching, building hospitals, digging wells, campaigning for justice, writing poems, caring for the needy, loving your neighbor as yourself—will last into God's future.”
-N.T Wright
My Story
Being an artist was honestly something I was born into. My mom began her “art era” around the time she had me, so I was quite literally born into her season of painting. My father is a pianist, playing piano at all hours of the day and night, so art and music has always been a part of my life.
My mom taught me to paint when I was very young, I started drawing in middle school, and saw myself excel in art classes in high school. I started painting during worship services at church and saw how painting with God can be fun and powerful. I went to ministry school in California and was mentored by the Creative Arts Director, which changed the trajectory of my life towards teaching and equipping the church in creativity.
Creativity became my passion. Showing people that creativity is inside all of us because we are made in our Creator God’s image. I saw how art and creativity can reach hearts that felt unreachable, how it could heal places that felt un-healable- and it’s all because of an incredible God.
Art, Music, Dance- they are all expressions. They help us as humans step into freedom, play, childlikeness, and also help us tackle big emotions. These artistic expressions are important and necessary for us to encounter God, to show others God, and for us to heal. I have taught a few creativity workshops, and then I discovered United Adoration.
This organization is dedicated to teaching, equipping the artists and creatives in the church in every culture and context to worship God with their gifting and art. I followed them for several years, went to a few retreats, and realized my calling and vision aligned with theirs. Thus began the journey of me becoming an Artist Missionary through United Adoration.
This part of my journey as I’m writing this in 2026 is still fairly new, but a calling that has been engrained in my very DNA for years (if not my whole life). But I am so excited to pour myself into this work and to be able to encourage and equip the Bride of Christ to love and worship the Lord with complete abandon- with complete freedom. Creativity and Art sometimes feels like it doesn’t belong in church, only because there isn’t space for it. Our goal is to make space, to remind leaders of its value and help them disciple the artists and creatives in their church.
We create to worship God, we invite God into the process and He comes. He comes with His love, healing, transformation, and joy. And He changes us- the artists, and those who get to witness it. And as a community, it strengthens and unifies us.

Studio Artist
I’ve been studying Art most of my life, and have been going through Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program to even further my skills. To see a multitude of my works you can visit my portfolio. I’ve dabbled in drawing and charcoal, but really love to paint- with oil, acrylic and watercolors.
My faith is very important to me and God permeates everything I do. I believe that Creator God gave us part of His creative nature- and through creating we reflect Him. Thus- in my art- its my joy and effort to try and capture beauty, light, God’s glory, and things observed around me. I immerse myself and paintings with bold colors, symbolic images, nature, and often create a mixture of abstract and surrealist images.
You can also hire me to paint you a commissioned work, whether it be a specific photo, portrait, or dream you have had. And lastly, I create prints and canvas prints of my original paintings. You can find all those in my shop.
Creativity Workshops
The Lord gave me a vision to start a Creative Arts Resource Center (C.A.R.C) where our mission is to equip the Church in creativity. Our goal is to be equipped with passion and power, as we Co-Create with God to bring heaven to earth.
Empower the Church. Build a Creative Community. Reach the Lost.
